A Luther Pilgrimage with Faith Lutheran Church ·
Faith Lutheran Church and Passage Tours are organizing a twelve-day trip to Germany next summer to visit the foundations of the Lutheran church and view the places Martin Luther lived, studied, preached, and was sheltered from persecutors. Scheduled for July 19-30, 2016, our bus tour will take us from Berlin (capital of the reunited Germany) into the cradle of the Protestant Reformation. We will visit
--Wittenberg (where Luther posted his 95 Theses and served as pastor)
--Torgau (where the first Protestant church was built, with Luther preaching at its consecration)
--Leipzig (including a worship service at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, where J.S. Bach served as organist and music director)
--Eisleben (where Luther was born and died)
--Erfuhrt (where Luther attended the Augustinian monastery and became a monk)
--Eisenach (home of the Wartburg Castle, where Luther translated the New Testament)
--and much more.
