Faith Lutheran is now open for in-person services with Covid 19 safety measures in place.
Christmas Eve services will be held December 24 at 5:00 and 7:00. The church places a strong emphasis on limiting the number attending services for their protection from the soaring Covid-19 infection rate our community is presently struggling to cope with. The elderly, individuals having susceptible risks to the Covid-19 virus and those with preexisting medical conditions are advised to enjoy our Christmas Eve services on YouTube or Facebook in the safety of their home.
PLEASE NOTE: Facility Use Guidelines were updated effective 11-2-2020, sent by all-church e-mail 11/10 & are posted at church & hall entrances.
In response to the sharp rise of Covid-19 cases in Iowa and in our area communities, the church desires to limit the number of people attending in-person church in order to help maintain their continued good health and safekeeping, and that of others. Some members may feel they are susceptible to the virus & face a higher health risk than others. Those having such concerns are encouraged by the church leaders not to feel they must attend in-person church services during the pandemic. They are encouraged to view Sunday services as recorded and posted on Facebook Live & YouTube, at home.
The physical health, mental outlook and spiritual well-being of all church members is very important to Pastor Kim, Faith’s leaders and Synod officials. If you are experiencing any anxiety or periods of uncertainty, please express your feelings and concerns.
